Pinhole leaks and/or frozen water pipes occur at the most inopportune times, and if left undetected, can quickly flood a home.  Engineered Home Solutions responds immediately to residential and commercial disasters, large or small.  All electrical and water services are shut down for safety, flood water is pumped and vacuumed, industrial drying equipment is installed to dry-out the structure as quickly as possible, and finally, anti microbial agents are applied to prevent mold growth and build-up.

Engineered Home Solutions is the first and only remediator on Cape Cod to utilize water evacuation equipment that is specifically designed for drawing water.  Unlike the “other guys” who use carpet-cleaning equipment, we can draw water in half the time, speeding up the clean-up process. 
More importantly however, we utilize CONDITIONED AIR DRYING TECHNOLOGY  which not only cuts the drying time in half, it significantly reduces the amount of tear-out required, saving you money.

TES™ is a unique water-damage restoration system that combines new and current technology in a whole new way. TES™ utilizes the "Reets Evaporation Method" combining controlled heat and air flow to produce high-speed evaporation and dramatically improve the drying process.

MOLD REMEDIATION

 Mold can begin to develop if water is not removed, and the drying process started within 24-48 hours.  When water damage is discovered and the remediation process is started within this time-frame, mold does not become a factor.  Unfortunately, a problem is not always discovered soon enough, hence mold remediation becomes necessary.

Engineered Home Solutions is certified to conduct mold remediation, and utilizes state-of-the-art equipment to contain and clean-up mold prior to the renovation process.  Plastic containment barriers are installed, and negative air machines are used to isolate the work area throughout the remediation process, and to ensure that other parts of the structure remain free of contamination.

Contaminated materials, such as drywall and carpeting, is cleaned with an anti-microbial agent, torn-out, bagged and disposed of properly to prevent any exposure to mold spores.  Soft furniture that is contaminated is spayed with an anti-microbial agent and destroyed to prevent re-use.  Salvageable contents, such as hard furniture and fixtures are thoroughly cleaned with anti-microbial agents to kill mold spores, then stored until all renovations are complete.

Engineered Home Solutions offers 24-hr/day on-call services with a maximum 2 hr response time.  Our mission is to return your home to its original pristine condition as soon as possible, which is why we actually begin the renovation process while clean up is underway.
